Kia Ceed EX diesel

I am taxi driver, driving a less than one year old station wagon Kia Ceed EX diesel and fail to understand how it is possible that the car already needs a major gear repair after only 55 thousand kilometers.

I have undergone all car maintenance at an authorized Kia garage. The car is my livelihood as a taxi driver and due to this major repair I have not been able to work for a few days. The car was repaired through the warranty, but only after pressure from higher up, the garage agreed to give ma a document showing exactly what had been repaired and what parts had been replaced.

PS I have been stopped on the road, several times by other taxi drivers with the same vehicle who have ask me if I also have problems with gear

In a conversation with director of Kia's service department, I was told that the gear and clutch were replaced: The taxi has been in the garage for a few days and I am waiting to see what compensation I will receive while my taxi was being repaired and therefore could not work
